Opening EYES WIDE OPEN! 100 YEARS OF LEICA PHOTOGRAPHY
EYES WIDE OPEN was the motto for the crowds of visitors attending the opening of 100 YEARS OF LEICA PHOTOGRAPHY yesterday at WestLicht Museum. Peter Coeln was pleased to welcome numerous guests of honour, including Thomas Hoepker, Clotilde Burri, Christian Skrein and others.
Along with some of the most iconic pictures from the history of Leica the lavish exhibition presents the camera hardware which made these photographs possible. The show is on view until 21 February 2016. Contemporary currents in Leica photography can be examined in the second part of the exhibition, from 11 December 2015 on view at OstLicht Gallery.
