Ferdinand Schmutzer

This exhibition features hitherto unpublished photographs made by the well-known Viennese engraver and etcher Ferdinand Schmutzer.
The photographs on display are portraits of famous personalities, such as Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, Richard Strauss, Arthur Schnitzler, Fritz Kreisler, Karl Lueger, Felix Salten, along with landscape photographs that he made during his travels through the Netherlands, Hungary and southern France.
